CAFO Owner Volunteers To Advise Eden On Natural Resources
Russell Barten, President of the Erie County Farm Bureau, has been appointed Vice Chairman of the Eden Conservation Advisory Council. The charge of the Council is to “advise the Town in the development, management and protection of its natural resources? According to Mr. Barten’s neighbor, Barten is running a confined animal feeding operation with toxic air pollution.
Can Mr. Barton set aside his financial interests in order to protect the town’s natural resources?
Wouldn’t it be a good start for him to clean up his own property first?
Charity begins at home or at least it should.
